2025 Matching Gift Campaign

Today, we are excited to announce an amazing matching gift opportunity! Three supporters of York Habitat for Humanity have committed $40,000 in matching funds. $40K to celebrate 40 years of serving the York community! These funds will be available to us when we successfully secure $40,000 additional dollars in contributed support from friends like you.

In 1985, a group of passionate individuals had a vision. A vision of safe, decent and affordable housing for all. These individuals founded what we know today as York Habitat for Humanity. This year, we are joyfully celebrating 40 years of impact!

For 40 years we have not only built homes, we have continued to build hope and transform communities. For our families, Habitat’s impact goes far beyond the walls of their homes. It’s about finding pathways to economic stability, creating generational wealth, and building stronger and more vibrant communities.

Over the decades, York Habitat has rallied thousands of volunteers, donors, and supporters like you. Together, we have served over 785 men, women and children. Many wonderful memories have been made, but there is still more work to do, and we don’t intend to stop now. We will continue to make an even greater impact throughout York County thanks to the support of individuals like you.

In 2025, we will complete our 100th Habitat home in York City. We will begin construction on the final stage of the Chestnut Street Revitalization project, providing 14 homes for 14 families when completed. Our ReStore continues to play an important role in supporting our mission, while providing affordable household items and construction products to local shoppers. We cannot do any of this without the continued support of friends like you.

Any gift you make in response to this appeal will be matched dollar for dollar! For example, your $10 gift will become $20; your $100 gift will become $200; your $500 gift, will become $1,000 and so on. Our matching partners know you have a heart for our ministry, and they want to help you maximize your support!
